SOAKING STAMPS
Stamps can be removed from envelopes and other packaging by soaking them in water.
The following two brochures will give you tips on how to properly soak your stamps. The information is much the same on each, but presented a little differently. So you might find one brochure more helpful than the other – you get to choose which one.
PLEASE NOTE:
Before you start cutting stamps off envelopes and packages, you need to consider that some stamps will be worth MORE if left on the envelope or package.
There are no hard and fast rules for this.
If you are unsure, check with your local stamp club members.
They will be happy to give you some advice on which stamps to cut out and which to leave on their envelope or package.
